Kiwanis Club of Willow Glen cleans up Lincoln Avenue

The Kiwanis Club of Willow Glen was out in force on Lincoln Avenue on April 23 cleaning the street for the Great American Clean Up day. President-elect Michael Rubino and his daughter Christina Burke-Rubino—a senior at Presentation High who will attend UC Santa Barbara next year—were busy working one side of the street when the Times caught up to them. Rubino said his group plans to clean the street on a bi-monthly basis because budget cuts have limited city cleanups.
