Willow Glen Ruggers are in season
Willow Glen rugby players are attacking the game of rugby football from a variety of directions, but most uniquely the San Jose Seahawk Mini Rugby Club, represented by Broadway School eight grader Paul Martinez, kneeling right with his father, Tom, a referee and coach. The Mini Seahawks train and play at Canoas Park most Sundays. Among other
Willow Glen inhabitants currently in action are Andrew Trapani for the University of Pacific where he is the team captain. Trapani, a junior at UOP, played high school rugby for Bellarmine’s College Park Rugby Club now represented by Scott Peterson, Phil Albanese, Scott Glicksberg and Luke Council, who all live in Willow Glen.
